Mumbai: HDFC Life has partnered with the Society for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (SINE), IIT Bombay to launch HDFC Life InsUReka – a national innovation challenge designed to uncover transformative Insurtech solutions from startups across the country.
The HDFC Life InsUReka challenge is a strategic initiative that aims to foster next-generation technologies addressing real-world challenges in life insurance.

It calls upon Indian startups to co-develop impactful, tech-enabled solutions that elevate customer experience, enhance risk management, streamline operations, and accelerate digital transformation in the insurance sector.
Key Features of HDFC Life InsUReka:
- Proof-of-Concept (PoC) Collaboration: Selected startups will have the opportunity to build PoCs with HDFC Life. Successful outcomes may translate into long-term enterprise contracts.
- Mentorship and Bootcamps: Participants will receive domain-specific mentorship from HDFC Life leaders and tailored workshops at SINE IIT Bombay.
- Scale and Visibility: Startups will gain exposure to real-world problem statements and access the infrastructure and support to scale their technology for industry-level deployment.
- Showcase Opportunities: Finalists will participate in a startup showcase, opening doors to strategic partnerships and national visibility.

SINE IIT Bombay, one of India’s premier technology business incubators, will play a pivotal role in evaluating applications, shortlisting high-potential startups, and supporting them throughout the innovation journey.
